I am trying to refernece where I've read of the planks a religion must be based on to be called a religion.
These are roughly the planks:
1. There must be a set of rules
2. must involve at least three people (if only two, you just have an agreement between like-minded individuals.)
3. one of these three must be an authority figure to explain the rules.
I can go on, but that is not my point. I would like to reference where I have read this. Perhaps William James?
