Could you use an AC converter instead of a DC converter to make the rust? My DC converter has an AC "accessory" option, and I was wondering if it would work, and if it would be better than the DC. Im guessing all DC converters have a time set in which it will actually transfer the electricity to the nails, because it will react for about a minute, then turn off for like 2-3 minutes, and turn back on. Hopefully the Ac converter can be used. Thanks for any info!
