: : Go to the hardware store and buy an aluminum pipe. File it down.
: For those of us who'd prefer NOT to spend a week with a pipe and a file, is there any place where one could buy powdered aluminum (Besides an online supplier, of course)?
No F*cking $hit, Eh? I did that for an hour then said the hell w/ it what I did is get my hands on a reciprocating saw (http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B00005T40O.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg) and put a file in as a blade then while a pipe was in a clamp I sawed it down at a astounding rate BUT the blade dose get HOT as hell so you have to cool it every min or so.

But of course I got board of that too so i got to thinking where this stuff might be occurring and I thought right at your local welding shop ask if you can get a bog of the aluminum shavings under their saws.
