Unlike many religions, you don't have to dismiss that Jesus or Muhamud existed to be Hindu. But, believing in the Hindu gods makes you a Hindu in my opinion. Do some research on Vishnu, Shiv, Brahma, Sri Ram, and Sri Krishn, and if you truly believe in it I think it's good enough to call yourself a Hindu. But learning just about gods isn't going to satisfy you completly. Learn about the way of life, and philosophies. I do know Hindu gods exist, and I'm not going to say I know a friend or a distant cousin who had a miracle happen by drinking holy water, and other stuff like that. God has made many miracles happen in my family alone. My aunt was told by every doctor that she wouldn't be able to have a kid, yet she did, after intense meaningfull prayers. Anyway I hope this help, I'm sure becoming a Hindu, or even just believing in SOME of it will help you.
