: The point of a democracy is that there not exist prerequisites to qualify for voting except for age. Politics does not require an education. An uneducated person is as capable of a profound thought as any other person. He may not express himself as well, but that does not mean that he is incapable of spotting a crook when he sees one, or knowing that one important means of human interaction is to do on to others as he would have them do on to himself.
