The write to war
Fear darkens in the sky
Though we never wonder how
And we never can see why
Victory is far from all bliss
We'll loose lives despite who wins
As soles dissolve into deaths kiss
Why do we all have to fight
A war to regain peace
When we're stronger to unite
Our pride denies defeat
Does a flag in hostile soil
Show a nation to take a stand?
Fighting a war maybe for oil
On someone else's land
Do two wrongs make a right?
Or is there any other way?
Protests may ignite
But we're still deprived our say
When the battle cries are done
And clouds of death do ulate
It's too far for us to run
If we could, we've cheated fate
