: We each have our own opinions and interpretations of Frost. We can't base these interpretations on what our teacher thinks (lord knows they're not perfect) or what 99% of critics believe, or whatever. Poetry is meant to be read on many different levels (especially Frost's) and therefore means different things to different people. If we could ask Frost what he was talking about in this poem, suicide or choices or nature or ob
ligations, he would probably say yes.
: Nature and obligation make up the surface level, death and perhaps a longing for death go beneath the surface. In order to fully appreciate the full beauty of a poem, more than just the literal meaning has to be taken into account. Maybe that's why so many people don't enjoy poetry...
Hi, I found a cool and functional online auction web site second only to fee-bay (you know who I mean).
I saw your web site while searching Google and have found it a nice place to spend a little time.
When ya get a chance, please come over and say 'Hi' on our chat boards.
The address is Online Auction.
I've been there almost for 4 years now. And, although it's not a living (for most of us), it's still a fun place to hang out and make a little extra something with friends.
Thanks for listening... hope to see you there.
