the poem is really easy to translate once you have an idea of what it is about. the persona speaking is Donne's wife Anne More. her grave is being dug up by "spies." Back then graveyards did not have enough room to hold the dead so they would dig up the oldest gravestones. and when they did this to More's grave, there was a golden thread of hair on her bone, it was DOnne's ringlet of hair, it is the relic, the only thing physically left of their love for one another. later on in the poem he compares his relationship with his wife to that of Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene. Their relationship is not ual at all, it is pure. and that is pretty much what the poem is about
