This poem is taken from the film "Tales of Ordinary Madness", which was directed by Marco Bellochio in the 1970's, in which Ben Gazzarra recites it so beautifully. It was obviously written for the film - but the text Gazzarra recites is not the one you read above - it's slightly different!
