I have been contacted by Nigel Hillary from Noble House Publishers in order to participate in a book "Colors of the Heart". Now after reading your comments, I definitely won't be submitting my proof. Thank God that printing and hard cover binding is my business; the best way to know if your poem is not being published and ultimately you got sc****d is if you found your poem at the beginning.
I would like to shed some light on the technical aspect of way it is done. The way they place an independent paper on the third page is called "Tipping in". We use the same technology to place advertising pages in books. It's a very simple procedure that can be done before or after the hard cover binding of the book. Believe me guys, there is nothing simpler than "tipping in" on the 3rd page. You can't tip in on the first page because it is stuck in the endpaper, so after flipping the first paper and putting some PVA glue on one edge of the independent paper, it's a piece of cake! Also if you would like to know what it costs to produce such a book, my estimate is that it should range between $4 and $10 at the very best depending on the quantities produced. So you can guess how much they have scammed out of you if you decided to pay $50 or $60 for it!!!
