Religion is like a walking stick given to different groups of people sitauated in different regions at different points of time.
One may use the pointers as outlined in his/her own religion hoping to get a glimpse of at least some aspect of something which is supposed to be infinite and dynamic in nature, as envisaged by various prophets. All the same.we may bear in mind that there is going to be infinite shades and colors in eachone's perception, always, thus resulting in infinite variations when it comes to individual's perceptions of Life and the Cosmos.
When it comes to Magic, it may be clified into two categories - a)Benevelont White magic and b) Harmful Black Magic.
Apparently, in the course of one's spiritual development, there may be levels at which one may gain control over elements of nature by incantations,spells, rituals,etc.. with symbolism as the essential common factor, using fingers,hands,body to form various shapes as if an antenna would be shaped to receive or transmit and even syllables and sounds arranged invoking invisible beings supposed to be possessing unlimited powers in limited domains or inscriptions or geometric patterns on metal plates or by symbolic use of natural substances used in kitchen,etc..all being procedures resorted to by one's desire good/evil using something like a pword and username for specific access.
Sound, two dimensional patterns and letters, forms and contours formed by fingers,body,etc.. all simulate procedures like tuning antennae, choosing pwords,voice recognotion software,etc.. motivated by one's desire basically. Such methods often hinder one's spiritual development and may or may not fulfill one's desire but would certainly make one become subservient to some form of authority or another in some domain known or unknown.
On the other hand, religion and practices prescribed in various religions all converge at the same point where plus infinity and minus infinity may meet, intended to purify one's body mind and soul in an unconditional manner. Ultimately bth nay be construed to be MIND DYNAMICS only and the human mind has infinte scope, which remains unutilized, in general.
