Laura, I agree with you about Nietzsche's impossible attitude towards women. I was reading some of his philosophies on chastity and could not help but laugh......he says that he will never understand why men find such extreme pleasure in "laying with women" and that it is an evil far beyond his understanding. He also said that women will never be able to maintain friendship or even begin to understand it, for we are simply like "cats and birds, or even cows." He says we only understand love for it is our weakness.
