: Hmm? Actually, Nietzsche was quite physically fit when he wrote many of his books. He would wake up before dawn, write until noon, and then hike up a mountain every day. Of course, he did become quite ill towards the end of the life -- but how uncommon is that?
But it is possible to be "weak" and physically fit. Morbid sensitivities and a superfluous excess of intellect are weaknesses in a biological sense. These he had in abundance. Likely he'd have gone down much sooner and harder without his hiking regimen.
