The Knight of "faith" is in reality a type of wise man who unlike the typical person is capable of seeing into the "nothingness" as kirkegaard says and exepting the uhappy feeling that "we are all alone" in the world except for God. This is the momentum used by the Knight/wise man to strive foward in his attemts to diseminate the true nature of life to those who do not understand or in most cases refuse to open their eyes, while prattleing throught their days working on meaningless trivial pursuites. once they realize the terrible enevibility of "seasing to be" then they to will learn and eventually gain balance in their lives through the philosophy of "free will". the abraham example is not all inclusive of christianity, for the exstreem dogma of christianity would completely destroy the idea of free will.
