I am responding to a message posted by Juan Pablo Gomez M. about the correct "interpretation" of Heraus. While I have not read the book mentioned, I do find it hard to believe anyone could find the true meaning behind the teachings of Heraus. Diogenes Laertius tells us the following story about the great diffuculty in understanding Heraus:
They say that Euripides gave Socrates a copy of Heraus' book and asked him what he thought of it. He replied, "What I understand is splendid; and I think that what I don't understand is so too-but it would take a Delian diver to get to the bottom of it."
