Is it not premature to argue without having defined your postulates. Distinguish, Being from beings -the latter of which art must be? Thanx
: The circularity in the question of art and artist is not trivial. It would be trivial, if Heidegger would say: "The artist is called artist because he makes art, and art is called art because it is made by an artist." But Heidegger didn't say this. And the meaning of art is to unconceal Being, but not to make you realize that you are alive. That's a very important difference.
: I don't understand what you mean with the second circularity. The essence of art is to unconceal the truth: I can't see any circularity there. - And finally, art is no "proof" of Being in a logical way, you "know" Being if you see a work of art, but this does not mean that you got "sufficient knowledge" about Being from this experience. So it would make no sense to say "go away", because there is no other way to Being. The only call could be: "Go and make a work of art by yourself."
