hey angela i don't think jon intended you to want to climb everest-- you say you love the book, but i feel that you didn't get the message or the moral Krakauer was trying to distribute to the readers in Into Thin Air.... i disagree in you when you say that the tragedy on Everest of '96 had almost nothing to do with human error-- when in fact I would say almost everything was-- except for mother nature... no one expected the storm-- but they should of been prepared and the fact that they didn't turn around on turn around is a HUGE human error--- this fault it resulted in all of the deaths in Hall/Fischer's team!
