I love all of the Austen books I've read so far (Per, S&S, P&P; will read all eventually). I guess I run with the crowd in this instance cuz P&P is my favorite. It's just so funny. But P is wonderful. I love the naval stuff; the Crofts as an older version of Fred & Anne (Anne didn't seem to envision herself as a younger Mrs. Croft, though, as if she was missing the similarity). Anne's father is a great satire of the fops of the day.
If you haven't seen the movie, I highly recommend it...
