Emma was an eloquent story that had wonderful character deveopement. But it presented too many hyperboles ( as seen in Chapter 12, 15, 19, and 21) These hyperboles were interesting aspects to the story but it does not convince the reader. (other than dialouge material, which as humourous aspects to the novel) Humour was definitely a treasured addition to the story and the characters, but it ran dry for the climax of the story - which was understandable - but it was injected into the story shortly after the sad fall. It does not do the climax, the suspense or the foreshadowing of te ending any justice. I found it annoying and distracted me too much from the real message and principle of the story.
thats all i have at the moment (i havent read it for about a year and half)
This was for my university ysis of "Emma"
good luck!
