: : Fitzgerald is one of my favorite authors of all time.
: : He takes his reader on a journey back to an age that most of
: : today's generation cannot concieve. Although Gatsby is
: : considered his best, one should also explore his short
: : stories and his other novels. Not only does he provide
: : a humorous outlook on some situations he also allows they
: : reader the opportunity to experience the drama of his life
: : through his stories. Although his novels usually end
: : on a down note, he is realistic and doesn't build up a
: : life and let you think that everyone lives happily ever
: : after. He's a wonderful author.
: I dislike Fitzgerld's writing especially Gatsby. He is boring =, cynical and bitter
You should read the Post stories he did. They're sweet, happy romances, not in the least bit cynical or bitter.
