Hi,
I have to write an essay on Descarte. The following
are the questions;
1)If our errors are the result of the 'best system
that could be devised for the preservation of the
healthy man', might we not be SYSTEMATICALLY
decieved?
2)Even supposing our cognitive mechanisms are
'the best system that could be devised for the
PRESERVATION of the healthy man', do we
neccessarily SHARE this objective with God? If
not, what follows theodically?
I have to admit, I have some ideas but these are
killing me. Can anyone with a better understanding
of Descartes help me with some pointers or ideas?
IF so, please respond to me ASAP, my Prof. is a
nut! PLease send me an e-mail as I can only
use the e-mail stations and not internet tomorrow.
