Hello,
I have a couple of audiocettes with Russian actors reading short stories of Chekhov's. One of them is entitled (in transliterated Russian) pervoye svidaniye, literally ' first meeting.' I looked through the 12 vol.collected works in Russian and could not find a short story with this title. Is it perhaps one that has been discovered since the 12 vol. edition came out in 1961 ? From the info on the cette, this would have been a story in the 1880-83 time period.
I would like to get a photocopy of this story, so that I can follow along as the actor reads.
Anyone who knows anything about the location of this story, please post here or write me direct. TIA
David
