It also has a few fold out maps attached to it. It appears to be an original. It has something to do with the German occupation of Poland during WW2. It's about 260 pages long. The dimensions are about 6" x 4". It's red in color with the title printed in gold lettering on the front and on the binding. It also has an interesting ribbon book marker attached, sort of like in a Bible. If anyone knows anything about this please send me a message with whatever info you may be able to share. Hi, I'm German and quite amused by your wondering about a Baedecker.
You got nothing else than a book for tourists of Poland (Generalgouvernement was just the name of the occupied Poland 39-44).
Baedecker made books for tourists from the end of the 19th century and the company lives on until now.
They even retained the red outlook of the books.
