The reason being is that I have listened time and time again to a story of a Veteran in Korea that was injured in a firefight in 1970. I want any pertainant information on the possible "battle" at that time. He states that 8 other US soldiers died in that firefight. Any help? Please email me with comments. Thanks!!
I do know for a fact that during that time period combat was declared in korea. U.S. soldiers were mobilized to the area. My husband was there from 1968 to 1969. During that time several scermishes did evolve. If you need other proof look up the USS PUEBLO. It was sunk during that conflict.
