: I have a bookstore in a rented building. The owner of the building is talking with my manager suggesting to him to take out a lease in his own name. : I am in rental arrears and have negotiated a payment plan with them and have stuck to that agreement. : I had to go away for awhile for my health and this has occured since my absence. At no time has the owner of the building contacted me personally despite having my e-mail address. : They also negotiated a new agreement with a tenant of mine who is renting space from me in the premises. They have reduced her rent by $100 and given her more space. : They issued a pay or quit notice by mail to the store knowing that i was away. My manager was dealing with the owners employee on this matter with out my knowledge or permission. : It appears to me that they want me out of the store and that the manager wants to take over the business. I need advice as to what action to take.
