Hello,
My name is Corey Wise, and I just recently purchased a mobile home. Myself and My fiance did the closing on the home on Oct. 23, having the first payment due on Dec. 1st. Well, knowing that our lot the trailer is setting on was not cleared off until like the week after the closing was done. And a day or two later the trailer was then moved out to the property. Well after all of this the agreement was to put brick underskirting around the trailer with the alotted money they gave to us to get it done. Well, come to find out, the land the trailer is on has one side of it sitting a little high. So I gave the trailer company a call to see if the unleveled land would be a problem, He told me he did not know for sure, he would send his brick mason out to look at it and he would let me know. Well, before I knew anything the bricks were up around the trailer so I thought everthing was cool. Well I gave them a call to see when everything else would be done and they tell me that I have 700 some odd dollars to pay for the extra bricking. Well we fell out there, because I do not think that it was right to let me know a cost after the fact. If I would have known that before hand I would have just got the vinal underskirting and saved the rest of that money. Well since then nothing has been done to the trailer. Wall panels are missing inside, central air unit is not hooked up, don't even have a front door key, we have a back door key, but the door latch is messed up so it can not be locked, and to top everything off we don't have front or back door stairs and the first payment to the mortgage company is due on Dec 1st. My question is should I make a payment or what.
