: : The KJV Bible is the most reliable source of God's Word in the English Language. God promised to preserve His Word, and He did so through the KJV Bible. How absurd is the thought that God created the universe, but could not Preserve His Word. Why is there such a push today for the use of amoral Bibles?
: What I want to see is a verse that say "I, The LORD, proclaim that the King James Version is the only version of My Holy Word that is acceptable to Me.". Produce that verse.
~~ By trying to argue on something that doesn't exist is the worst possible argument one can come up with. The Bible doesn't say to flush the toilet. Does that mean we can't flush the toilet? One should argue on the basis of what IS written, NOT what is NOT written. In Psalm 12:6, 7 "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever." That's what IS written, not what is NOT written!
: If the KJV is superior, how come there are references to "Easter" regarding Resurrection Sunday? Acts 12:4
~~ Easter was a pagan festival probably practiced by Herod but not the Jewish community at that time. What's wrong with that? It's just refering to a pagan festival. Unfortunately, through the ages, we are brought up to understand that Easter is Resurrection Sunday. However, it WAS NOT. Today, we do refer Easter to Resurrection Sunday. Probably not the best reference but it has already been established.
: If the KJV is superior, how can Moses lead a "church", when the very institution of the church was founded by Jesus Christ Himself. Acts 7:37-38.
~~ The word "church", is in English. English probably wasn't even widely in use at the time of Moses. The translators of the KJV used that word to describe the Israelites, i.e. the chosen of God. The church just refers to the body of Christ... or more widely means the people of God. Come on, there are Satanist Churches around, too. They are definitely not followers of Christ.
: Why do you place tradition above God Himself? Matth 15:3. Mark 7:8.
~~ And what tradition is that supposed to be? Holding on to the one, true, infallible Word of God? What's wrong with that? If it's the best, why settle for something inferior? If it's the best, nothing can overcome it and take first place. The best a really fervent, Jesus-loving, Christian would do is to protect God's word from the attackes of the evil one. How do we show God our love? By fervently reading and protecting His Word!
: "God promised to preserve His Word". Or to quote - "The word of the Lord stands forever". The Hebrew Scripture and the Greek New Testement are the only authoratitve versions of the God's Word. Nothing else. ALL translations, KJV most dreadfully so, suffer from human error, because these humas who translate are not fully spirit driven.
~~ Please find me an error in the KJV if you can. I can give you many from other Bible versions. True, the originals are the correct ones. But so are translations (not interpretations). Tranlations are direct, not what you think God is trying to say here (like other versions). The KJV translators did just that, so no other doctrines may come from their own "inspirations". It's just like translating "love" in English to "amour" in French. Both are totally legitimate. The same goes for the KJV.
