: Just curious what this chat box is about. I admire Thomas JEFFERSON, and choose to read a good bit about him. Just an interest.
I am the middle of Merrill Peterson's biography. It's my first in-depth look at Jefferson. It's amazing how little I knew of the man, his foibles, strengths, accomplishments, and struggles.
Currently embroiled elsewhere on the net in heated debate about the alleged Jefferson-Hemings tryst. Anyone who's read Fawn Brodie...I would appreciate your take and perspective.
