Ok, So John Proctor Tells Mary Warren that god damns all liers. Sure, so he gets her to confess that all the accusations were fake. Now no matter what she does she is going to go to jail for lying.
This whole thing started because they felt as though it were the only way out. It WAS the only way out. Either they say other people are sending out their spirits or THEY will die. What would you do?
Mary Gets scared when Hathorn says that if she is lying her neck will break so she says John Proctor Was making her say that.. that he go to her in her sleep and say if they don't over run the court he will kill her..
Seriously what would you do if you were in her shoes?
