Brightest Mornings
Brightest mornings are when lucid walks
she past my way along Third Avenue
as then with striking perfect grace anew
her way is such that out she stands from talks
of Monday's Chaos Theory cl in Physics,
or of all the places friends had gone
the night before, from bar to bar, and on and on,
yet glides she as if an elegance unmimicked.
Ping by, she within arms reach or less
as then the urge to speak I feel
though stifled are my words and thought.
My twisted tongue, tied in juvenile stress
as each ping day this urge to break that seal
of silence in her presence ever caught.
