You know what I'd love to see? A three pack DVD with All Summer in a Day, Quest, and the Electric Grandmother...
All from about the same period... all fantastic stories... If you haven't seen Quest, it has some cheesy tron-esque moments but it also has some really remarkable visual concepts... There is a simple quest to open a door not far from the originating world... but only a child can do it, and the species only lives for seven days... one of the coolest parts is this great scene when the hero runs across someone else who left but wasn't going to make it - as he faces this person, in the planetary background you see all of the planets slowly line up. just cool!
