1. there are 12 Joads, including connie, which can represent the 12 disciples from the bible.
2. Jim Casy has the same initials as Jesus Christ. He is also a preacher like Christ. Both were also killed to save others, Jesus mankind, and Jim, Tom Joad who was about to be arrested.
3. The flood in the novel is like the flood from Noah's ark.
4. Rosasharon giving the man her milk at the end of the book is representative of communion received at m. Jesus gave his body and blood, and she did the same. Jesus did this to save mankind from dieing spiritually, and she did it to save him from dieing physically.
5. I think this may also be one too, the Joads load onto their car 2 by 2, the same way in which the animals did onto Noahs ark.
