i think that aaron burr was a great patriot. he had the courage to face off with his leader to fight for what he believed in. today's politics are slow and long drawn out arguments are commonplace. though killing in cold blood is not right, a formal duell for something that would direct the entire countries future in a drastic way, can perhaps be condoned.
