In every age two things have survived
By efforts of martyred patrons kept alive.
To us handed they have been
So that we might feel within
The joy that was felt by those before
When they their souls did outpour.
Two virtues walking hand in hand
Love and music together stand.
Like them we can't hope to be
Quite as much individually,
But when together we have found
That we are by no limits bound.
