as far as making things red, it depends on what language they utilise.
as far as this being a writers forum, it has tremendous potential, however seems to be more of a haven for spam.
you can try writers.net, which is an excellent place to interact with other writers and post your work. there is also our site, glitterchildren.com, where we are working on a novel together, and anybody is welcome to join in.
