First, anyone with an education in the arts knows that "Shakespear" who had kids is not the "Shakespeare" we read - it was (99.99%) probably Edward DeVere's pen-name; hence, the OXFORD Shakespeare.
Second, being conservative in arts and literature is lame. We would still be looking at crappy clical works over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and you get the point.
It is okay to be rebellious in the arts and conservative in morality and politics.
In fact, as far as rebellion goes, conservatives were born from rebellion.
