: One of the things that most amazes me about the supporters of Ayn Rand is the almost mystical reverance in which the Randian acolytes have for Ayn Rand. Rand, a ferocious athiest, would either be amused or appalled at the quasi-religous zeal with which they hold her. Like most unifocal political movements first it is necessary to deny God...and then replace them with a secular Godhead..in this case Ayn Rand.. : The Maoists carried The Little Red Book, the s carried Mein Kampf, and the Randians, carry Atlas Shrugged....secular bibles all..
