Does anyone agree that the end of the Aeneid seems to reverse the situation at the end of the Iliad? In the Iliad, Achilles, who has been unyielding throughout the epic, forgives Priam at the end. In the Aeneid, Aeneas, in a moment of "furor", kills his suppliant enemy Turnus.
On a different note, does anyone out there know where I can find a Latin language chatroom?
