I would like to hear from anyone with an interest in Donne who would care to comment on Margaret Edson's play, "Wit." Has she created a fair context for his work? Is he "overstated" in any way? Has she been particularly helpful in using Donne this way or does she do him any disservice? I found the play thrilling. In particular, I appreciated this opportunity to meet Donne in a contemporary (yet timeless) setting. I look forward to any responses. Thanks.
