I recently came accross a very old book by Byron at my grandfather's home. He is unable to remember anything relating to the book. The date is unlisted in the book and I am very curious, (having just completed a college course that included Byron readings). I have spent hours trying to find information on this book to no avail; nothing seems to fit the criteria.
Here is what I know:
INSIDE TITLE: "The Poetical Works of Lord Byron." Possibly subtitled "Complete In One Volume"
SPINE TITLE: "Byron's Poetical Works"
PUBLISHED: in New York by R. Martin.
PAGES: 824
OTHER NOTES: There is a short message scripted in pen on the first blank page and signed "Bryon." Visually, the book is a dark brown leather hardback with many designs; inside pages contain steel engravings (as do numerous works by Byron).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Please email me at "kenwhitejr@comcast.net" with any information, questions, suggestions, or interest. If you post a reply to this PLEASE email it to me as I do not check these forums.
