I have a paper due Monday, 11th of December and I am doing it on Dante's placement of lust as the second circle while biblically lust and carnal actions are considered one of the worst sins. What does Dante's placement of lust as the least of the sins tell us about the italian culture of that time and in a way the renaissance as that was about the time the renaissance began in Italy. If anyone has any thoughts, please email me (I always lose these webpages :) ). Thanks!
