hello,
this is a serious question. I'm looking for students and bibical scholars that might provide an answer and understanding as to why God intended to kill Moses.
Refer to Exodus 4:24 through 26 and to quote from the New English Bible:
"During the journey, while they were encamped for the night, the Lord met Moses, meaning to kill him, but Zipporah picked up a sharp flint, cut off her son's foreskin, and touched him with it, saying, "You are my blood-bridegroom." So the Lord let Moses alone.
Can anyone explain what 'blood-bridegroom means'? and why that act made the Lord leave Moses alone?
Also, would like to know how you feel or think about 'God meaning to kill Moses, his faithful servant'.
