: Isn't there a movie that's come out, based upon those books?
I saw movie, wife read book. Book is style B+, content faithful to source A-,
Movie faithful to book, c+, acting, character selection, directing C-
: I've heard good things about the series.
My wife has read series and she says it was all good and has a reasonable literal interpretation of the source material of scripture.
Revelation is one book you have to treat carefully.
If you are a sincere Christian you know there is stated penalty for deliberate distortion.
If you are not it will not make much since. The book really
requires Holy Spirit guidance to deal with it. Pentecostals seem to be most comfortable with it.
They are usually more use to the Spirit guidance, since they are able to receive messages in other languages for prayer
and prophetic ministry.
That doesn't mean they all agree, it is just that they try to find
what is symbol and what is literal more comfortably , and they differences are more respectful of the
authenticity of the revelation and the need for care.
LeHay is not a practicing Pentecostal, but he has been around a lot of them and I think he has done a good job.
The message is simple, there is an end time, Satan is real and will have a short time of success, and in my opinion the church of today will not be here.
Jesus will return in physical form as literally depicted, and reign for 1000 years on this earth as it is, then after a short rebellion there is
the judgment, the end of this earth as it is and new earth is created.
God bless on you life adventure.
