How sad the former message is. Clearly one who is troubled and in need of the gospel, (the good news), of the grace of god. The grace of God is His favour we cannot merit nor earn; in fact we recieve it as a gift, the gift of eternal life.Eternal life is not just for the future, it begins here and now when we understand that Jesus died and rose victorious over death to become the firstfruits of those who shall believe, and follow. This section should be devoted to the life and teaching of the faithful servant of God; Jonathan Edwards, let us try to keep to the point, and the gospel he preached.
