Signs of a shattered soul
1)Chronic Depression
2)Difficulty with being "present" in the body
3)Feeling numb or apathetic
4)Trouble resisting illness
5)Chronic illness as a child
6)Memory gaps
7)Addictions
8)Frantically trying to fill ones life with external activities or people.
9)Difficulty getting your life back together after a broken relationship, loss of job,
death of a loved one, etc.
These are all symptoms of a shattered or split soul. Today, we try to compensate with drugs,
chemicals, "working out", etc.
These are not fixes. To retrieve a soul fragment, it is necessary to either take or send
someone on a Shamanic journey, or see a clergy member who is familiar with the concept and who knows how to coax a soul fragment to return.
Shamans AND Clergy have always known of it, and many churches teach it to those planning to be clergy.
It can be caused by many different things, and it is only a piece or fragment of the soul.
Souls do not just walk out, or just leave. Something has to happen. Child abuse can cause it, divorce, illness, a death in the family, or simply puberty.
I would not try going to a catholic clergy member for soul retrieval, as they have an unhealthy habit of compelling the fragment to return, rather than coaxing. This can cause very serious problems for the patient, housing an unwilling soul fragment.
Also, it is not healthy, if you have more than one piece missing, to retrieve them all at once. Being reunited with a fragment of your soul can be very emotional, and too much at once is very likely to simply cause more problems, if not serious illness or death, depending on how many fragments you bring back at once.
A reverend who knows the practice is a very good choice if you would rather not see a
shaman. Don't ume that they will, however. Each religious sect has its own "curriculum" and they may not have been taught it. Do not go to someone who has not done it before, or has to read a book on it to help you. These people could damage the fragment.

A forum for Religious Views and Ideas, "We Are Listening" is a message board where we can all connect. Please, stop by and share your thoughts. Everyone believes something different, even those of the same religion.
We Are Listening is part of a larger informal board Community. Each board has at it's top a Link Menu you can use to jump from board to board. The Menu on top of We are Listening has religious sites and other links above it's board links, which are helpful for poetic, religious, musical and coding references.
