: I found a copy of Treasure Island, it looks old in that it is a smaller book than we publish today (tan with green lettering; the print inside is inconsistent in hue which leads me to believe we have come a long way in technology). It has no date in it but does have some loose slips of paper dated 1930's. Hurst Company of NY was the publisher. I am sure it was not an 1800 edition but I still would like to know when it was published and why there is no date.
