The video is definately based on the Hans Christian Anderson version, but i'm not sure who made the video. Someone told me that it might be the first Disney version. The mermaid had a name that was not Ariel (like the new Disney version) but I can't remember what it is. She was blond, the video was in colour. The video was avaiable when I was growing up, so i'm quessing anytime between 1975 and 1985.
Theres got to be someone who knows the video. I feel like i'm going mad !
