Hi, I just happen to think of that poem today when I saw a feather on the ground, and I decided to see if I could find it on line. I learned it in grade school around 1976.
If you find a feather, a little white feather, and soft and tickly feather, pick it up and put it in your pocket. A feather is a letter from a bird saying, remember me, do not forget me, remember me always
...it went something like that :)...I'll see what I can find online
