Help! I'm trying to find a poem that I heard in 1966. It was in a book for a Childrens Lit cl. It went something like: "If you find a feather, a soft and tickly feather, pick it up and put it in your pocket. A feather is a letter from a bird. It says, 'think of me remember me, remember me always, or at least until the little feather is gone'". It was something like that. Has anyone ever heard of it? I'd love to find the actual wording. Thanks.
