I read Paula and enjoyed it immensely, not the sad topic of the book, but the author's sue of words, right words, right thoughts, even in period of personal pain. I've lost loved ones, and she expressed feelings I've had and tried to put words to. She did it well. I think she needed to get them said, serving as sort of a catharsis, but I think she did it in part as a memorial to her daughter and son in law as well. I've read all her books and loved them all. I wish she'd join a chat groups sometime, so we co;uld p a few cmments and quessstions n to her. Sorry, it's late and I don't have time to proofread or spell check. dgb
